Privacy Policy

Effective 5 June 2026. This policy explains how StoreCadence collects, uses, shares and protects personal data, and the rights you have. It applies to this website and to the services we provide.

Who we are

StoreCadence ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@storecadence.com or by post at 176 Orchard Road, Level 4, Singapore 238843. Where the law requires a representative or data protection officer, their details are available on request.

What we collect, and why

We collect only the personal data we need. This includes:

  • Enquiry details you submit through our forms, such as your name, work email, company and message. We use these to respond to you, arrange a diagnostic, and provide our services.
  • Engagement data a client shares with us to deliver a project. This is governed by the contract between us and is used only for that engagement.
  • Usage data from privacy-conscious analytics, used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. See our cookie policy.

We do not collect special-category data through this website, and we ask that you do not submit it through our forms.

Our legal bases

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following bases: consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), contract (to deliver services you have requested), and legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries and run our business), balanced against your rights. In Singapore, we handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), including its consent, purpose-limitation, notification and protection obligations. You can read the official guidance from the Personal Data Protection Commission and an overview of the GDPR.

How we share data

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example email, scheduling, CRM and analytics providers) under contracts that require them to protect it, and where we are required to by law.

International transfers

Where data is transferred outside its country of origin, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism, so that your data remains protected.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymise it. Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is deleted within a reasonable period.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; restrict or object to certain processing; request portability; and withdraw consent at any time. Under the PDPA you may also ask how your personal data has been used and disclosed. To exercise any right, email privacy@storecadence.com. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

How we protect data

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encryption in transit, and supplier due diligence, to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices or the law change, and will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
